Guy's Burger Joint

Quick service

Included in fare

The single most toddler-reliable free lunch on Carnival ships: plain burgers and fries exist, lines move fast, and it is steps from the pool deck.

BlueIguana Cantina

Quick service

Included in fare

The other great free Carnival lunch: fresh tortillas, a build-your-own burrito line, and a salsa bar. At breakfast it does huevos rancheros and made-to-order breakfast burritos.

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse

Restaurant

$52/adult prix fixe (starter, main, two sides, dessert); kids 11 and under $15; wine pairing +$24

Carnival's white-tablecloth night and the best-value steakhouse at sea on price. The $15 kids cover makes it a realistic family dinner, not just date night.

Big Chicken

Quick service

Included in fare

Shaquille O'Neal's free chicken counter is the easy toddler backup when the buffet is a madhouse: crispy tenders, fries, and a biscuit breakfast that beats standing in the omelet line.

Cucina del Capitano

Restaurant

Lunch: complimentary pasta bar. Dinner: $18/adult most ships; free first visit then $8/person on Excel Class (Celebration, Jubilee, Mardi Gras); select Il Viaggio items carry an added charge

The free lunchtime pasta bar is the real family value here; a toddler who eats plain buttered noodles can build their own bowl for nothing, no reservation required.

Seafood Shack

Restaurant

A la carte counter service, additional cost; most items roughly $4–$18, whole lobster and crab priced by market

Because everything is ordered a la carte with no cover charge, a toddler can get a small cup of chowder or a basket of fries without the table paying for a full seafood dinner nobody wanted.

ChiBang!

Restaurant

First dinner visit included in fare; $8 per person for repeat dinner visits; lunch always free; steakhouse selections add $23 per entree; extra entrees beyond the included two are $5 each; 18% gratuity applies to paid visits

Splitting Chinese and Mexican menus down the middle solves the classic one-picky-eater-one-adventurous-eater standoff, and the free lunch noodle bowls are a low-stakes way to try it before committing to a paid dinner visit; currently only on Mardi Gras, Celebration, and Jubilee.

Rudi's Seagrill

Restaurant

$52 per adult (appetizer, main, and dessert); $15 for kids 11 and under from a dedicated kids menu; gratuity included; alcohol extra unless covered by a drink package

The flat kids price is a good value and the dedicated kids menu keeps ordering simple, but the adult courses lean toward raw oysters and tuna tartare, so this reads more as a date-night splurge than a whole-family seafood night.

Alchemy Bar

Bar & lounge

~$14.25 per craft cocktail plus 18% gratuity; zero-proof versions ~$10.25; covered by the Cheers! and Cheers! Zero Proof beverage packages

This is a 21-and-up cocktail bar, not a kid venue, but it is worth knowing about as the 20-minute grown-up escape hatch while the other parent has stroller duty, and the mixologist will hand-make a Lyre's-based zero-proof "elixir" for anyone who is pregnant or not drinking.

Pizzeria del Capitano

Quick service

Included in fare

Open 24 hours on most ships, this is the free late-night and early-morning backup when a toddler wakes up hungry before the buffet opens; the plain Margherita is always available even though the other four pies rotate by ship.

Carnival Deli

Quick service

Included in fare

A real deli counter with hand-carved meats means a plain grilled ham and cheese is always on the menu for a toddler, while the Reuben and Cuban Mixto give the adults something more interesting to split.

Bonsai Sushi

Restaurant

A la carte, no cover charge; sashimi $2.50 per piece, rolls $9 (Bang Bang Bonsai Roll $10), appetizers $3-$5, noodle bowls $8, Bento Box $17, Ship for 2 Platter $34, desserts $3; alcohol extra unless covered by a drink package

Ordering a la carte means a picky kid can get away with just an order of edamame and a California roll instead of committing to a full meal, but there is no dedicated kids menu so an adventurous eater has a much easier time here than a nugget-and-fries kid.

Emeril's Bistro

Restaurant

A la carte, no cover charge; small plates $5, po-boys and sandwiches $6-$8, mains $6-$8, desserts $4, breakfast items around $5

The Cajun and Creole flavors here (raw oysters, jambalaya, tuna wrap with jalapeno) skew bold, so a picky eater's safest bets are the muffuletta or a plain po-boy since there is no dedicated kids menu.
